Indonesian badminton player Anthony Sinisuka Ginting bites his medal after defeating Danish shuttler Anders Antonsen in the 2020 Daihatsu Indonesia Masters men’s singles final held at the Gelora Bung Karno Sports Hall in Central Jakarta on Sunday (19/1/2020). Anthony defeated Antonsen 17-21, 21-15, 21-9.

JAKARTA, KOMPAS— Indonesia dominated the Daihatsu Indonesia Masters 2020 badminton tournament by winning three titles, namely the men\'s singles, men\'s doubles and women\'s doubles. Greysia Polii/Apriyani Rahayu and Anthony Sinisuka Ginting won the titles after a difficult 2019.

With their titles, they are expected to be more motivated to face many important tournaments in 2020, with the Tokyo Olympics as the ultimate target. Apriyani even cried when hugging Greysia on the court, shortly after becoming the champion in the tournament at Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta.
