Tolerant Interaction Stage Needed

JAKARTA, KOMPAS - Providing space for a diversity of cultural expression is one of the strategic goals formulated at the 2018 Indonesian Cultural Congress. However, according to President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, the availability of stages for expression is still limited. What we need now is a tolerant stage of interaction.

Providing a tolerant interaction stage was an important point that was conveyed by the President in his speech after he had received the blueprint for the culture strategy on the last day of the 2018 Indonesian Cultural Congress (KKI) at the offices of the Education and Culture Ministry in Jakarta on Sunday afternoon.
