Dark Clouds over Our Judiciary
The latest arrest operation by the KPK is the most comprehensive in the history of the Indonesian judiciary. All elements of the judicature are involved. Judges, lawyers and the court clerk. That is the triangle of the most important actors in our justice system.

Iswahyu and four other people were apprehended in an operation across South Jakarta. Iswahyu is believed to have accepted bribes in connection with a civil case he was handling.
Six people, including two judges, two lawyers and a court clerk, were arrested by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in an operation from Tuesday to Wednesday.
