Plagiarism in Academia

We have once again been shocked by the recent news on a rector of state university that committed plagiarism. What saddens us is that the core business of a state university is education, a field that is closely related to a high level of academic ethics, culture and morals.

Before, the Research, Technology and Higher Education Minister had a clear track record of handling cases of academic integrity violations at Manado State University (2016) and Jakarta State University (2017). However, in the latest plagiarism case, he showed unusual signs.
