Supreme Court to Investigate Alleged Illegal Fees
The Supreme Court (MA) and the Indonesian Judges Association (IKAHI) are to investigate complaints from regional judges on dues they reportedly contributed toward a tennis championship organized by the Judiciary Tennis Association (PTWP).
JAKARTA, KOMPAS – The Supreme Court (MA) and the Indonesian Judges Association (IKAHI) are to investigate complaints from regional judges on dues they reportedly contributed toward a tennis championship organized by the Judiciary Tennis Association (PTWP). The court will also investigate allegations that regional judges were requested to provide moneys toward MA leadership.
Supreme Court spokesperson Abdullah said on Wednesday (12/9/2018) that the court leadership had never asked for money from level-one or high court judges during their regional visits.
