Traffic unit police stop vehicles violating the expanded odd-even traffic policy on Wednesday (1/8/2018) along Jl. Letjen S. Parman in Slipi, Jakarta. Strict measures against violators began on Wednesday, after the Jakarta governor signed Gubernatorial Regulation No. 77/2018 on traffic restrictions under the policy during the 2018 Asian Games.
JAKARTA, KOMPAS โ The government should strive to ensure a successful Asian Games without sacrificing the public. There is still time to improve preparations for the Games.
The first two days of the expanded odd-even traffic policy and tollgate closures in Jakarta on Wednesday and Thursday (1-2/8/2018), have had both positive and negative results. The preparations have been the talk of the town.
