Fransiska Buarmin’s screams broke the silence at Agats Hospital in Asmat regency, Papua, at midday on Sunday. The 25-year-old woman cried after realizing her daughter Theresia Bewer had died from malnutrition and pneumonia.

Theresia’s corpse was covered with a white cloth at the morgue. Fransiska, who has been a widow for three years, could not stop crying next to her 3-year-old daughter\'s dead body. Her husband previously also died from illness.
