Evacuees of Bali’s Mount Agung disaster return to their Banjar Benekasa homes Friday (6/10) in Muncan village of Selat district, Karangasem regency. Having evacuated to Banjar Gunung Hyang in Semarapura subdistrict, Klungkung, the evacuees returned to their villages after they were reassured that their village was not in the Mt Agung eruption danger zone.

I Nyoman Pasek, 60, looked excited to welcome his neighbors return to their village on Saturday (7/10). After two weeks of living apart in evacuation camps, the residents of Hyang Api, Muncan village, Selat district, Karangasem, Bali, were back to live together.

“Did you just arrive?” asked Pasek.
