Tampaksiring, the Palace Where Friendships Are Forged

Conference Building with the name of Graha Bung Karno, which was built in the era of President Megawati Soekarnoputri in the Tampaksiring Palace complex in Manukaya village, Tampaksiring district, Gianyar regency, Bali, Friday (21/4). The design of the building and its interior, which was made by Kris Danubrata, was built in six months by 500 workers to catch up with the ASEAN Summit in 2003.

Mount Agung stood tall to the east of the Tampaksiring Presidential Palace complex in Manukaya village, Gianyar regency, Bali, on Thursday (20/4/2017), as sunlight shone through the Wisma Negara building. From Jembatan Persahabatan, or Friendship Bridge, that connects Wisma Merdeka and Wisma Negara, the activities of locals and tourists at the Tirta Empul temple are visible.

The Friendship Bridge is where all state guests are welcomed. All state guests visiting Tampaksiring Palace are received at Wisma Merdeka, where the president stays in the palace complex.
