Seven Scenarios to Overcome the Peak of Influx
JAKARTA, KOMPAS – The Transportation Ministry and police have prepared a number of measures that could be carried out to overcome traffic jams at the peak of the homecoming flow, which is predicted for Friday (30/6) and Saturday (1/7). Various options have been discussed to ease congestion.
West Java Police traffic director Sr. Comr. Tomex Korniawan said on Wednesday (28/6) at the Cikopo Integrated Post in Purwakarta that police had prepared a number of measures to deal with different traffic scenarios in the return flow. The Transportation Ministry and Indonesian Toll Road Authority (BPJT) have prepared additional measures to reduce the burden during peak congestion.
