People Celebrate Pancasila

JAKARTA, KOMPAS — The commemoration of the birth of Pancasila was marked festively in several regions across Indonesia on Thursday (1/6). It was a good start to reflect on Pancasila and our unity as a nation.

In that regard, the President’s working unit to instill Pancasila values (UKP-PIP) under Presidential Regulation No. 54/2017 should be established and start their work soon. Past experience in familiarizing Pancasila values, when it was mere recitation and rhetoric, is a precious lesson.
