Elementary school students enjoy the Teken stationery and alphabet exhibition at the Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta cultural center in Kotabaru, Yogyakarta, on Friday (7/4/2017). The exhibition, which was held to commemorate the role of the alphabet, ran until April 13, 2017.

Dozens of typewriters of various brands and various forms  were on display in the exhibition hall of Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta. This was not an ordinary typewriter exhibition.

The April 5-13 exhibition was more contemplative. Even though the items were inert objects,  the typewriter tells many things, especially in the history of Indonesian literature.
