Catholics follow the visualization of the story of Jesus Christ in commemoration of Good Friday in Mount Gandul, Giriwono village, Wonogiri district, Wonogiri regency, Central Java, Friday. Good Friday is part of a series of the three holy days of Easter.

Religious holidays cannot be separated from the actual events that they commemorate. The events fall within the framework of faith.

Various recent events show that truth can be built not by the objective reality but by the narrative that develops. Gone are the days of fides quaerens intellectum (faith seeking understanding). Religious truth is claimed as truth on the basis of narrative that is full of meaning. Religion no longer unites but instead divides.
