Notes on 2017 Simultaneous Regional Elections

The West Jakarta chapter of the General Elections Commission held an open recapitulation on vote counting of the 2017 Jakarta regional elections in the Twin Plaza Hotel, West Jakarta, on Feb. 23. The number of eligible voters in West Jakarta accounted for 1,652,051 people. The number of residents who voted on Feb. 15 was 1,217,784.
The simultaneous regional elections in 2017 must be recognized for continuous drama covered by the media.
The elections for governor and deputy governor in Banten and Aceh were sidelined next to the hubbub brewing in Jakarta, which took place long before Election Day.
