After Successful Launch, Telkom 3S Enters Orbit

The Ariane V rocket containing the Telkom 3S satellite on the launch pad at the Guiana Space Center-France complex, Monday (13/4). On Tuesday (14/2) evening, the rocket was launched to deliver the satellite into orbit.
KOUROU, KOMPAS – The Telkom 3S satellite owned by PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom) has been successfully launched using an Ariane 5 rocket from Arianespace’s spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana.
About 40 minutes after takeoff at 6:39 p.m. Tuesday local time, or 4:39 a.m. Wednesday western Indonesian time, the satellite successfully separated from the rocket booster. The satellite then continued its journey to its final orbit at 118 degrees east.
